Microsoft has also revamped Control Panel interface in Windows 8. It has been likely done to make touch friendly and resemble with new Metro start menu. The options in new Control Panel of Windows 8 are also confined. Therefore, we should get something familiar which is Windows 7 Control Panel.

Metro Start Menu in Windows 8 has a pinned tile which takes you to new Control Panel.
Anywhere in Metro Start Menu or Desktop Mode, Press Windows Logo Key + Q and it will open search pane. Click on the Apps section and you can find “Control Panel” under list C.
In new Windows 8 Control Panel, scroll down in left pane where settings are listed. Final option is “More Settings”. Click or Tap on it. You will get Windows 7 like Control Panel. In other words, classic Control Panel with all option will be there.
Anywhere in Metro Start Menu or Desktop Mode, press Windows Logo Key + E. It will launch Computer (system folder). If Ribbon Explorer is turned on, you will see Control Panel in ribbon bar. It will launch classic Start Menu which exists in Window 7.
The above method to access classic Start Menu requires that you are in Windows Explorer which can be accessed in other ways also. Let us know if you are having any problem.
