Windows 8 will support the option to restore PC to factory settings within no time and installation period of Windows 8 is 2.5 times less than Windows 7. A Chinese portal named Win7China has been able to grab this information from their source in Microsoft. They have also leaked screenshots of Windows 8 which show some changes in Windows taskbar and also affirm earlier news that Windows 8 login would be accessible through cloud.
The factory restore option would take almost two minutes and will also not occupy much disk space. Their source also describes that sleep to wake time has been improved significantly which matches Microsoft’s goals mentioned in leaked Windows 8 slides. The update time in Windows 8 is also better. Earlier, we have learned some other improvement in Windows 8 updates.
The speed improvements are based on latest builds which belong to M3 stage. Microsoft has recently finished development of Windows 8 Milestone 2 and development for M3 started.
One screenshot shows Windows Live ID’s profile picture in taskbar.
The profile picture can be changed as well.
Another screenshot suggests that progress of driver installation in Windows 8 will be shown in the taskbar also.

The tipster from Microsoft also mentions that Windows 8 M2 has integrated multi touch support. There will not be a big UI change until Windows 8 Beta.
